Completing a dissertation is a long and winding journey, and every path is unique. A smooth journey typically takes about 18 months to conceptualize your idea, obtain approvals, conduct research, write your dissertation, and complete your defense. The journey often isn’t smooth, involving unexpected complications which can cause stress and delays, even more so when one of those unexpected complications is a worldwide pandemic.
